This project consists of seven modular decorative objects that offer a 3D, visual and structural interpretation of plants as we know them. The user-viewer can arrange the stages of a plant’s life cycle in any way they see fit: the bud, flower, and seed pod can switch places, giving the same plant different looks. Rearranging the parts allows users to explore and reflect on the natural order and how we perceive it. By encouraging play, these objects challenge the status quo, and with it, the idea that plants are only beautiful in their prime.
