The alligator burst out of a childhood memory or distant story, shed off the yoke of reality, and developed her independence in an imaginary event. Imaginary events have a logic of their own. While the alligator is being actualized in material – with ironwork or editing programs – encounters and clashes become fertile ground for her future metamorphoses.

In her unique fashion, the alligator tells the stories of the unknown and the unconscious; “And I,” says the artist, “just try not to interrupt”.
