The aim of this project is to research and learn which parameters affect the antibacterial properties of polyethylene sheets, and whilst doing so find the thermoplastic polyolefin sheet, which contributes its best antibacterial, mechanical, and thermal properties. The parameters tested were: density of the material, type of antibacterial additive, amount of antibacterial additive, and thickness of the sheet containing the additive.
