Outfits that express contrasting feminine feelings in their design.
One side of the project is about a woman experiencing verbal and physical violence, while the other side is about the new world that she creates for herself as a strong, independent woman. The project’s material language makes use of rope as a raw material to express feelings of suffocation; and on the other side, of transparent fabrics in shades of pink, which express feelings of freedom and independence. The consistent knotting of the macramé ropes reminds us that her previous world lives on in the present and will remain entwined in her life forever.
