At the military Roi service as a seamstress of camouflage and concealment products in the command elite unite. There, Roi realized how much the concept of “first impression” is a very large part of his professional and private life. As a fashion student, his preoccupation with the world of first impressions did not go away, only changed. From its start to the present day, fashion has been used as a tool which associate the wearer culturally, economically, politically, genderally and more.
In his final project, Roi examines the concept of camouflage and asks if clothes are affected by the world of camouflage and vice versa? And does fashion often create a first impression that flattens the identity of the wearer and not really allow him to express and create an individual identity?
The color palette comes to mix different worlds of content, the material from the worlds of military camouflage blends in with thick knits, rigid fabrics and more.
This men’s collection aims to convey a confusing atmosphere, which put in doubt the concept of “first impression” and does not give the brain the ability to understand what it is watching.
