I/O —- IN/OUT is a short VR film that takes the viewer on a journey beyond the frame. What do a billboard, a poster, a smartphone, a magazine, and a TV have in common? They are all rectangular. We have gotten used to consuming visual content through squares and rectangles. VR technology gives us the option to escape the confines of the rectangle. Malka takes the viewer on a visual journey where they can try to figure out which is a better place to be: inside the rectangular frame, or outside of it.
