Noa Spector lives and works in Tel Aviv. At the heart of her work is the creative process in the studio, a process led by her occupation with redundancy. Spector struggles with an inability to stop her activity, from a fear of empty creation. She works by accumulatively producing objects, roughly sewn and stuffed with Styrofoam and acrylic fibers, and paints them with a colorful palette using mixed techniques.
Spector builds a pleasant and colorful world that hides the ability to threaten and disturb us with its redundancy.
