A cabinet of curiosities is a personal encyclopedic collection of objects associated with different knowledge areas. Such cabinets were common in Europe during the Renaissance period. For the collectors, each object was an opportunity to tell a story—true or fictional. In this, the collectors were similar to today’s curators. In this project, I have created a digital cabinet of curiosities, where infinite possible narratives are encapsulated in a single body of work.
