This is a campaign for an Afro haircare brand. There are many demographics in the world with Afro-textured hair, but surprisingly, world-leading haircare brands choose to ignore them and offer no solutions for this type of hair. Inspired by the Ethiopian Israeli community, Makeda (“queen” in Amharic) is a haircare brand that empowers people with Afro-textured hair to be proud and never apologize for who they are.
