In the project, the designer examines the internal and external relations, the intimate in front of the public, what the enabling and embracing home places in front of the chaotic street. She examines what characterizes the home space, the place that is so personal and yet universal and universal, that makes us feel so protected in it that we allow ourselves to step out of this real world, and daydream?

“I use the living room tent motif that I used to set up as a child,” Maya shares. “Tents made of furniture, blankets and bedding in front of the tense and built-in outdoor tents and examines the sense of protection / concealment they provide.” The exploration of space passes through almost invisible moments, through a blanket, a curtain, a corner of a room, the soft light penetrating through the shutters, a gathering inside a large sweatshirt.

The project presents everyday clothes into which she has poured functions of protecting the dreamer, the ability to hide and disconnect from the street and also return to reality. Combined with the use of layouts and cuts of the contours of a house, details from outdoor tents, using fabrics and colors taken from the color palette in her private home.
