The issue of safety in public spaces has been featured in the headlines in different contexts many times in recent years. This project aims to show how, in an ideal world, a global community would work to make its members feel safer. This project deconstructs the city as we know it and reconstructs it based on the work of journalist and author Jane Jacobs. In her book “Great American Cities,” Jacobs explains what a city needs to look like to make its residents and visitors feel safe.
