Throughout history, artists and designers worldwide have dealt with death, memory, and remembrance in their work. This project opens a window into a year of grief and shows the intersection between the emotional and technical aspects of coping with the loss of a loved one. The project invites the viewer to contemplate life and death, despair and hope, memory and remembrance, all while leading them toward one conclusion: the search for solace is necessary.
