The world in which we live has known many changes and in fact is in the midst of a significant period and consequences are no longer known. One of the problems we already know we will have to deal with is population growth, which leads to accelerated construction that will ultimately not leave free space on Earth. Francis Weslikovic offers a smart solution and creates a modular world- a world that the user will be able to design his environment according to his wishes and needs. Your WAY TO SPACE project focuses on the “future home” The choice to engage in a residence came from the study of personas and the conclusion that the way the home area is utilized varies throughout the day. Francis Veselkovic designed a residential building, on each floor six apartments that allow for privacy, a basic and minimal size and the possibility of storage and personal space. The area of each floor is divided according to a permanent rail grid. On top of the grid of the tracks you can move the walls and extend the basic apartment in different directions. The extensions will be done according to the needs of the residents and on their agenda. The expand area, the size of add-ons, and the add-ons are dictated by the grid that provides different and varied options. The extensions of the houses will be made in accordance with the additional houses on the floor.
