This is a digital protest against consumerism and humanity’s exploitation of natural resources. The fashion industry is the second-largest polluter in the world. In this project, the designer proposes an innovative, sustainable, and environmentally friendly way to consume fashion. With digital fashion, people can capture fashionable moments and post them on social media. For this project, Danielle designed her own digital avatar, dressed in digital apparel manufactured using cutting-edge technologies that imitate natural materials. While they cannot be worn in the physical world, these clothes accentuate the true creative freedom digital spaces give us.
