This project was created as a response to the worrying global phenomenon of bee extinction and its widespread implications. The project suggests integrating bees into our urban habitat with modular kits for use on residential balconies. The kits provide for bees’ basic needs: food, water, and habitat. They are designed to raise awareness about the extinction crisis by demonstrating the mutual dependence of humans and bees. The bee food in the kits consists of flowering and fruited plants, providing added value for users.
