Identities are complex, and any attempt to reduce an identity to a single symbol serves only to diminish it. We contain multitudes; our flags symbolize much more than nationalities, political views, sexual orientations, or gender identities. This project gives each and every one of us the freedom to design a personal flag that celebrates the rich complexity of our personal identities with the help of a flexible, versatile design system.
