Sidekick is a robotic companion offering a solution for personal exercise activities at home and outside. 

People are growing less physically active, a trend that looks set to continue. Jobs requiring physical activity are increasingly being replaced by machines, while many other jobs dictate a sedentary lifestyle. The modern individual is interested in living an active lifestyle but struggles to stick with an exercise program in the long run. 

Sidekick is a four-legged robotic companion that can help us maintain a healthy lifestyle. It functions as a personal trainer that supervises workouts, provides statistics and trends, learns the right exercise routine for each user and works on improving it, and features a range of equipment for working on different muscle groups. 

Sidekick interacts with users through movement, sound, and lighting, which it uses to spur the user on and encourage them to keep working out.
