Born out of a gap in current efforts to make sexuality more accessible, this project focuses on alternative sexuality for those with indirectly damaged genitals.
The project’s aim was to design an accessory allowing people with spinal cord injuries – who receive pleasure from erogenous zones instead of or in addition to genitals – to have an independent sexual experience.
The accessory is placed on the erogenous zones of the body, warms them up, and vibrates at various rhythms, allowing the user to experience arousal and orgasm.
Oneg is not a regular sex toy, nor is it a medical product; for this reason, the design process was guided by the attempt to formulate a new design language that will invite users to enjoy a pleasurable experience while exploring their corporeal space.
