The Gathering is an interactive comic about cults, their status, their influence, the damage they cause, misinformation, and misconceptions surrounding survivors. This project aims to shed light on the topic of cults through the interactive comic medium. The comic tells the story of a lost young woman who inadvertently joins a mysterious cult. The interactive reading experience gives the reader a false sense of freedom, much like the manipulation cult survivors are subjected to.
