The group is one of the most ingrained images in the Israeli collective consciousness, not only as a biographical nostalgia but also as an educational and cultural image.
Aya Gishori focused on two unique Israeli groups that inspired the project. The first is the kibbutz, which symbolizes for her childhood, the assimilation of the values and laws of the common education, alongside the second group which is the military framework and service in it.
“For years I was part of the group and was educated according to its principles, when for 7 years I served in the army in core roles. After Operation “Tzuk Eitan” in which I took part, a breaking point came which caused me to no longer belong to any group.” says Gishori

Gishori has created new and colorful groups to deal with her past traumatic experiences, these have brought her
back to the kibbutz spaces, to the spectacular landscape, to nature, to a sense of release, security and freedom
The collection combines RTW and RESORT for women, and includes tailored everyday clothing details Silk, viscose, cotton and elastic fabrics in satin weave are used which create new images that reflect who she is and the landscape of her childhood.
