Lay.Out is a study of the “book” concept, with a focus on form and materials.
By converting actions of digital design into experimental interactive actions, the designer invites the viewer into a physical playground that simulates the decisions a book designer has to make. The project focuses on three parameters: lettering (size and placement on the page), the grid (the internal visual hierarchy of a page), and the book format.
