Humans thrive in aesthetic environments. This project belongs to the field of furniture and operates in the discipline’s aesthetic aspect, taking a formalistic approach where form leads function. The line’s potential objects invite us to take a theoretical look: observation without functional interest. According to Roger Fry, an object with an aesthetic form, thoughtful organization, variety, and impermeability invites unbiased observation. A chair that is not impermeable – a transparent chair – is a chair in which the function of sitting is clear and inviting. When users see the chair, they will sit in it. An impermeable chair, on the other hand, invites close observation before use. Deciding whether the object is actually a chair requires theoretical observation into its form, details, and organization. In this manner, the composition is absorbed in its entirety.
