Unfortunate Soul is a 2D pixel-art platformer video game in which the player steps into the shoes of an unlucky protagonist, experiences her misfortune, and tries to help her. Soul is a clumsy, hapless young woman—so unfortunate that she must wear a helmet for protection because she never knows when she might stumble and fall. When she finds a witch who lives outside her hometown, she thinks her troubles may finally be over. Soul asks the mysterious witch for help and gets a magic potion.
