“The Great Sea Serpent” is a children’s book based on a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen, which Peled translated into Hebrew and edited. The story refers to the first transatlantic telegraph cable laid on the ocean floor.
The fish and sea creatures think the cable is a living creature, and the most curious fish in the ocean decides to find out who this new guest, the great sea serpent, really is.
