“The Optic Nerve” is a graphic novel about the life of a sight-impaired girl who discovers the world of illustration at a young age. Despite her severe physical disability and social difficulties, the protagonist finds creative ways to overcome her challenges through illustration. In this coming-of-age story, her rich inner world and vivid imagination help her find self-acceptance, face her fears and come to terms with her disability.
