Boker.tov (“Good Morning” in Hebrew) is a smart system that improves the user’s wake-up experience by tracking and analyzing sleep stages.
First, the system recognizes light sleep and REM sleep and finds the best time to wake up the user. Then, it checks if the user has gone back to sleep and wakes the user again if needed. Next, the system tailors the wake-up experience to each user’s sensory needs with vibration, sound, and light settings. The user can also see sleep cycles and hours of sleep tracked over time. The data is displayed as a helpful chart. The system learns the user’s sleep cycle and adapts to it over time, creating an optimized, personalized wake-up experience for each user. This includes an advanced “snooze” feature for users who have difficulty getting up in the morning. The system accounts for accessibility needs by offering to wake users up by stimulating more than one of their senses. Over time, users can use the chart to learn about themselves and improve their sleep quality.
