This product line was born during the pandemic out of a personal search for comfort in performing ordinary household activities. The line contains three products: a hot water bottle, a container for making sourdough starter, and a system for growing plants. These products make use of water to work together as a household system.
The reciprocal relations among the objects allow for maximum utilization of water, from the moment it is poured into the water bottle until it is returned to the soil to water the plants.
The products are inspired by different ways of handling feelings of distress: growing plants; performing repetitive or cyclical actions; heating the body and putting weight on it; and watching the movement of water.
Material and techniques: 3D printing, glassblowing, polyurethane casting, flocking (applying fine particles to adhesive coated surfaces)
