How do we bridge the gap between user and interface?
Designers planning 3D models face the challenge of moving from the physical world to the virtual world: the screen creates a 2D feeling, the perception of scale is distorted, and one cannot touch the object during planning.
Morpheus is a device that lets the user digitally sculpt in a virtual space using a combination of technologies that make it possible to see and feel a 3D representation of the object. The product makes analog tools in a virtual reality environment more accessible to 3D designers and redraws the borders between the physical and virtual world.
