Overalls that are digitally printed using an innovative method of turning cellphone photos into high-quality textile images.
This project brings up many questions: how do we function when the world has stopped? Where do we find inspiration when we can’t leave the house? How do we design without access to professional equipment?
The project’s work process connects visual research to the changes that the concept of escapism has undergone throughout history, while relating to the commonalities among conferences, museums, and nightclubs as places that allow us to escape. A system of designing and printing the fabrics was developed that turns cellphone photos into quality images suitable for high-grade digital textile printing.
