The aim of this project is to research cement additives that quickly harden concrete, thus reducing the concrete’s thickness without harming its mechanical properties. The importance of reducing the concrete’s thickness stems from the fact that concrete is the most useful material in the world; and a large amount of carbon dioxide is emitted during its manufacturing process, which pollutes and harms the environment. This research experimented with adding various fibers and plasticizers to the concrete mixture to strengthen it and reduce its mass, which is necessary for various construction products.
